Children in the Northern Hills

Taken in the region between Mae Hong Son and Pai. This was in a Karen Hill Tribe village nearer to Thai cities, which accounts for the modern clothing they wear. You see more traditional clothing the more you go into the hills.

Wat Phra Si Sanphet

A Chedi built to house the remains of King Borommarachathirat.  The Burmese destroyed and desecrated most of it when they sacked Ayutthaya, along with everything else.  They also beheaded all the Buddha statues.  >:(
