A Chedi built to house the remains of King Borommarachathirat.  The Burmese destroyed and desecrated most of it when they sacked Ayutthaya, along with everything else.  They also beheaded all the Buddha statues.  >:(

i think the reason i love your photographs so much, jamie, is that they never fail to be awe-inspiring. all three of these, though completely different pictures, are just that - awe-inspiring. not just because the photos are spectacular - which they are - but because the subjects themselves are spectacular.
