Dunno if you guys care (I know I'd probably be all "huh... it's a ring" if it wasn't the one that I put on Melissa's finger) but here's the ring. :)

It looks good on her. :D

Kudos on the non-traditional focal stone. My wife's ring has a ruby for the center stone and the accent stones alternate between diamond and ruby (as well as the wedding band itself).

Gorgeous ring, you did well! :)

Actually, the funny thing is that until the 1900's, diamonds were non-traditional focal stones. Then Europe's diamond trade got involved and buggered everything up.

Hells yes man. At one point even before that the idea of including a stone on any promise ring of any sort was horrifying because it interrupted the circle of the ring.

Good choice on stone though, a cool color that can double as a neutral but also throws a splash of color around.

I'd pretend to have an opinion of you as a couple but I've been on the fringe for so horribly long. But if anyone as finicky and perfecetionist as you can look a woman in the eyes and tell her she's the one... I think you're right.

And any woman who love's you for that kind of attention is sure to be happy with her catch.
